Wikimedia Foundation before the Supreme Court.

We represented the Wikimedia Foundation before the Supreme Court in a matter concerning sweeping injunction orders passed by the Single Judge and Division Bench of the High Court of Delhi. Both the courts had directed the Wikimedia Foundation to remove allegedly defamatory content about Asian News International Media Private Limited published on platform, English Wikipedia. The Supreme Court set aside these orders, holding that the injunctions were over broad and had been granted without any determination of whether the content was defamatory.
