Chaeffler India Limited in proceedings before the Bombay High Court

AZB & Partners successfully represented Schaeffler India Limited in proceedings before the Bombay High Court, which ultimately led to the recent first-of-its-kind decision by the Bombay High Court, which clarifies that for composite schemes of amalgamation involving multiple transferor companies, a single NCLT sanction order attracts only one charge of stamp duty, irrespective of the number of transferor companies involved.
