Indian Semiconductor Mission, and Deloitte in connection with the grant of fiscal incentive to SiCSem Private Limited

AZB & Partners acted as a legal counsel for Indian Semiconductor Mission, and Deloitte in connection with the grant of fiscal incentive to SiCSem Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of Archean Chemical Industries Limited, for the establishment of India’s first compound semiconductor (SiC) fabrication and assembly, testing, marking, and packaging facility in Info Valley, District Khordha, Odisha. The facility will have a committed capacity of 5,000 wafer starts per month for SiC fabrication and 8 million units per month for SiC ATMP. The total estimated project cost is approximately INR 2,000.00 crores.

The transaction was led by Mallika Anand and Tanishq Khandelwal.
