Air India completes acquisition of its first A350 aircraft through GIFT City

AZB & Partners acted for Air India on its momentous A350-900 aircraft acquisition through a finance lease transaction with HSBC. This transaction takes centerstage as Air India’s maiden ‘widebody’ aircraft acquisition through an Indian IFSC as also the country’s inaugural aircraft acquisition by a commercial airline through the GIFT City.

Our deal team comprised our Senior Partner Anand Shah, Partner Hufriz Wadia, Senior Associates Rishiraj Baruah, Kshitez Kaushik, and Associate Saptarshi Bhuyan, with periodic inputs from our Counsel Haseena Tapia.
