ICICI Bank Limited, acting as the lead lender for a consortium of 17 banks, in connection with the extension of working capital facilities to Inox Wind Limited for an aggregate amount of INR 4,000 crore.

AZB & Partners advised ICICI Bank Limited, acting as the lead lender for a consortium of 17 banks, in connection with the extension of working capital facilities to Inox Wind Limited for an aggregate amount of INR 4,000 crore.

Our scope of work involved advising on overall structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing and security documentation, as well as devising the documentation strategy, including navigating complex issues arising from the multi-lender consortium structure and the creation and perfection of security interests. The transaction was particularly challenging as it involved a complete renegotiation of the security enforcement mechanism across all consortium members.

The deal team comprised of our senior partner Anuja Tiwari, supported by Counsel Shikhar Thukral, along with Associates Tanishq Khandelwal and Uday Sehgal.
