SC Holds That Party Cannot Obtain Relief of Permanent Injunction Only Basis An Unregistered Document

The SC in the case of Balram Singh v. Kelo Devi,[1] held that a party who is only claiming permanent injunction in a suit cannot obtain such relief on the basis of an unregistered document / agreement to sell, as no decree for specific performance could have been passed on such unregistered document / agreement to sell.
