JSW Energy Limited on the strategic acquisition of KSK Water Infrastructures Private Limited and Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure Private Limited.

AZB & Partners advised JSW Energy Limited on the strategic acquisition of KSK Water Infrastructures Private Limited and Raigarh Champa Rail Infrastructure Private Limited – two critical infrastructure entities of KSK Mahanadi Power Company Limited (“KMPCL”), both of which were undergoing separate insolvency proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (“IBC”). These acquisitions follow JSW Energy’s acquisition of KMPCL through the IBC process in March 2025 (where the firm had acted for JSW Energy).
