CCI closes Case No. 06 of 2012, finding no contravention of the Competition Act, 2002 by Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited.

AZB & Partners is pleased to share that the Competition Commission of India (CCI) has closed Case No. 06 of 2012, finding no contravention of the Competition Act, 2002 (Act) by Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited.

We are proud to have represented and advised Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited on this mandate, with a team comprising Senior Partner Ram Kumar Poornachandran, Counsel Chandni A, and Associates Ileina Srivastav, Aditye Arora, and Harshvardhan C Rawandale.

This is the first order of the CCI under Section 26(9) of the Act in which the Director General found contravention, but the CCI exonerated all parties.
