Modification in Guidelines for Trading of Access Spectrum

The DoT, by way of Letter no. L-14006/05/2015-NTG (Pt.)-1 dated August 01, 2023, has modified the Guidelines for Trading of Access Spectrum by access service providers dated October 12, 2015 (‘Trading Guidelines’). With this amendment, in addition to outright transfer of right to use the spectrum, the telecom service providers will be able to also lease spectrum to captive non-public network licensees as per the applicable leasing guidelines.
