Adani Energy Solutions Limited in the launch of its district cooling solutions business.

AZB & Partners advised Adani Energy Solutions Limited (“Adani”) in the launch of its district cooling solutions business, with plans to implement projects totalling 52,000 tonnes of refrigeration (“TR”) capacity. We also advised Adani on the development of India’s largest district cooling facility in Mundra, Gujarat, boasting an impressive 45,000 TR capacity with an invest of INR 5,000-6,000 crores. This transaction was one of the first-of-its-kind in India, as it involved ground breaking technology, since each district cooling plant can improve energy efficiency by at least 20% in comparison to air conditioners.
