AZB & Partners represented Baby Memorial Hospital Limited (a KKR portfolio company) in relation to the acquisition of a majority stake in Unimed Health Care Private Limited (“Star Hospitals”) for approximately INR 1,600 crores. Star Hospitals is a leading multi-specialty hospital chain in Hyderabad which offers a comprehensive range of advanced medical and surgical services across diverse specialties including cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopedics, critical care, organ transplantation, and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
