Digital Accessibility and Recognition of Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Securities Market

SEBI has, by way of a Circular dated July 31, 2025, mandated all Regulated Entities (‘REs’) to ensure that their digital platforms comply with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The obligations under the Circular include appointing nodal officers, grievance redressal, digital accessibility, staff training, inclusive KYC, accessibility audits, and annual compliance reporting.
