DoT Mandates Online Registration for IP-I with Saral Sanchar and NSWS

The Department of Telecommunication (‘DoT’) has, by way of a Circular dated July 18, 2025, discontinued the offline registration process for Infrastructure Providers-Category-I (‘IP-I’) effective from August 1, 2025. All IP-I registration applications must now be submitted exclusively through either the Saral Sanchar Portal (‘SS Portal’) or the National Single Window System (‘NSWS’) portal. Additionally, all existing IP-I holders are required to mandatorily onboard on the SS Portal and update their registration information on the SS Portal.
