Schneider Electric on their proposed acquisition of a minority stake held by Temasek (Singapore) in Schneider Electric India Private Limited

AZB & Partners advised Schneider Electric (SE) on their proposed acquisition of a minority stake held by Temasek (Singapore) in Schneider Electric India Private Limited for an all-cash consideration of USD 6.4 billion. SE will also acquire Temasek’s stake in their Singapore JV. We also advised on the original transaction in August 2020 where Schneider and Temasek jointly acquired the electrical and automation business of Larsen & Toubro Ltd. and combined it with Schneider’s local operations.
