Ajay has over 23 years of extensive experience in the projects and infrastructure sector, with focus on renewable energy sector. He regularly advises clients on complex transactions and regulatory matters, bringing deep sectoral expertise to each engagement. In the renewable energy space, he has advised on several multi-billion dollar acquisitions of large-scale renewable energy portfolios, joint ventures and investments in commercial and industrial (C&I) and wholesale clean energy platforms, as well as divestments and reorganisations of renewable energy businesses in India. His clients include leading global energy companies, private equity firms, and Fortune Global 500 companies. Ajay has also advised various business groups on the acquisition, construction, and development of domestic and international infrastructure projects, and has advised banks and financial institutions on lending in renewable energy, conventional power, roads, airports, and other infrastructure projects across the Asia Pacific region.
