Aprajita Rana has 13 years of experience and specialises in TMT, Data Privacy & Cybersecurity, E-Commerce, Employment, Charities and General Corporate matters. Aprajita has advised clients emerging technologies, data privacy, security, cyber incident response, and encryption and interception matters. She has also advised retail, manufacturing, and e–commerce companies on their Indian operations, including online and logistics operations, and related regulatory issues. She advises various charities and multi-lateral institutions on their India operations and partner networks. Aprajita is a public policy strategist and has been involved in policy representations on defining the scope of intermediary liability and data interception in India, recommendations on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019, and the non-personal data framework. Aprajita is a Chevening India Fellow for Cybersecurity, an Affiliate of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society of the Harvard Law School, and dual qualified to practice law in India and the UK. She holds an LL.M. degree from the Harvard Law School.
